TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tauranga County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on Rural Housing Loan 1969, $200,000, authorised to be raised by the Tauranga County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Tauranga County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought eight of a cent (.08c) in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Tauranga; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

PURSUANT to section 47 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and sections 90 and 102 of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, the Manawatu Catchment Board hereby resolves:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual loan charges on the Lower Manawatu Scheme Redemption Loan 1969, $81,600, authorised to be raised by the Manawatu Catchment Board for the payment on maturity of the Lower Manawatu Scheme Loan 1954, $700,000—Second Issue Registered Stock, Part $81,600, the Manawatu Catchment Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of

0.042749680c in the dollar on class B land
0.021374840c in the dollar on class C land
0.010687420c in the dollar on class D land
0.004274968c in the dollar on class E land
0.001603113c in the dollar on class F land

Pensioner Flats Loan 1969—$13,500

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments and all other powers in that behalf thereunto enabling it, the Woodville Borough Council doth hereby resolve as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of thirteen thousand five hundred dollars ($13,500) authorised to be raised by the Woodville Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing housing for senior citizens, the Woodville Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of nought decimal point two five cents (0.25c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (upon the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Woodville; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years or until the loan is fully paid off.

Water Supply Loan No. 2, 1969—$12,000

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendments and regulations thereunto enabling it, the Carteron Borough Council resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the half-yearly instalments of interest and principal on a loan of $12,000 to be known as the Water Supply Loan No. 2, 1969—$12,000 for the purpose of replacing a 3” diameter steel main with a 6” fibrolite main, the Carterton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.00061926 of a $1 upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Carterton; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and shall be payable until the loan is fully paid off."
