RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
EXTRACT from the minutes of a meeting of the Northcote Borough Council held on 8 July 1969:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $25,500 authorised to be raised by the Northcote Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying the balance owing on Streets Loan 1955, $230,000; Part, $50,000, the said Northcote Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0435c in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Northcote, comprising the whole of the Borough of Northcote; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 7th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 8 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of an extract from the minutes of a meeting of the Northcote Borough Council, held on the 8th day of July 1969.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
Waterworks Treatment Plant Loan 1969—$133,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Whakatane Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred and thirty-three thousand dollars ($133,000) authorised to be raised by the Whakatane Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing water treatment plant extensions, the said Whakatane Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point two one four cents (.214c) in the dollar upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property over the whole of the Borough of Whakatane; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years or until the said loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Whakatane Borough Council held on 21 April 1969.

Pensioner Flats Loan No. 4, 1969—$23,500
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, at a special meeting of the Te Aroha Borough Council, held on the 21st day of July 1969, the following resolution was passed:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $23,500 authorised to be raised by the Te Aroha Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the erection of eight pensioner flats, the Te Aroha Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nine one three four one (.091341) cents in the dollar upon the rateable value, on the basis of the unimproved value, of all rateable property in the Borough of Te Aroha; and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
