The Traffic (Taupo Borough) Notice No. 1, 1969

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Taupo Borough) Notice No. 1, 1969.

2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

4. The roads specified in the Third Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

5. The Warrant under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 20th day of December 1962†, which relates to Taupo Borough, is hereby revoked.

State Highway No. 1 (Awanui-Bluff) (from a point 16 chains measured southerly generally along the said State highway from Shepherd Road to the southern boundary of Taupo Borough).

Cancellation of Vesting in the Otamatea County Council and Revocation of the Reservation over a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Otamatea and revokes the reservation for recreation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Declaration That Part of the Mount Wellington Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve and Vesting in the Mount Wellington Borough Council

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that that part of the Mount Wellington Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953 and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve, subject to Part II of the said Act; and, further, pursuant to the said Act, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens, of the Borough of Mount Wellington, in trust, for that purpose.

Revocation of the Reservation over Part of a Reserve, Specifying That the Land Shall be Held by the Auckland City Council in Fee Simple

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation over that part of the reserve for public park and recreation ground purposes described in the Schedule hereto; and, further, declares that the said land shall be held by the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland in fee simple.
