PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway from and after the 14th day of July 1969.

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Mount Wellington Borough Council, Change of the Purpose of a Reserve, and Vesting in the Intellectually Handicapped Children’s Society (Incorporated)

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Mount Wellington and changes the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for recreation purposes to a reserve for a site for an intellectually handicapped children’s centre; and, further, vests the said reserve in the Intellectually Handicapped Children’s Society (Incorporated), in trust, for that purpose.
