Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 14th day of July 1969.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block I, Whakatane Survey District, Whakatane County, for Soil Conservation and River-control Purposes

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of Whakatane river-control scheme; and, for the purposes of that public work, the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken: and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Whakatane and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same, in writing, and send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made, in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

Licensing Horace Adam Wynne Anderson, Murray Wynne Anderson, and Noel Dawson Anderson to Occupy a Site for a Slipway in Riverton Harbour

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Horace Adam Wynne Anderson, Murray Wynne Anderson, and Noel Dawson Anderson (hereinafter called the licensees, which term shall include their administrators, executors, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea in Riverton Harbour, as shown on plan marked M.D. 13266 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a slipway, as shown on the said plan; such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensees upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

2. The term of the licence shall be 12 months from the 1st day of April 1969.

3. The premium payable by the licensees shall be 10 dollars ($10) and the annual sum so payable by the licensees shall be 20 dollars ($20).

4. Every person who uses the slipway for slipping any vessel shall pay to the licensees the sum of 6 dollars ($6) for every day or part thereof.

Consent to Assignment

Pursuant to regulation 41 of the Rock Oyster Farming Regulations 1964, the Minister of Marine has consented to the assignment of the lease of the lease land shown on plan M.D. 12927, granted to Deryn Lorraine Pittar on 19 September 1968 for the purpose of farming rock oysters, to Deryn Lorraine Pittar and Michael Parke Pittar and their respective executors, administrators, and assigns.

Licensing King’s College to Occupy a Site for a Ramp in the Tamaki River, at Otahuhu

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits King’s College of Otahuhu (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Tamaki River, at Otahuhu, as shown on plan marked M.D. 9661 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a ramp, as shown on the said plan; such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
