NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Maori Land Development Notice Gisborne 1969, No. 2.

The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

This notice is issued in replacement of the notices referred to in the First Schedule, which are hereby revoked.

WHEREAS by virtue of the Maori Land Development Notice Hamilton 1969, No. 5, certain notices under Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 are revoked:
Now, therefore, in partial replacement of such notices, the Board of Maori Affairs, acting pursuant to section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, hereby gives notice as follows.

Maori Land Development Notice
WHEREAS by virtue of the notices described in the First Schedule hereto the lands referred to in those notices were declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953;
And whereas the appellations of some of those lands have been changed by subsequent orders of the Maori Land Court;
And whereas some of those lands have since been released from the provisions of Part XXIV, aforesaid;
And whereas it is desired to release certain other of the lands referred to in those notices from the provisions of Part XXIV, aforesaid;
And whereas it is considered necessary that the balance of such lands (under their present appellations) shall remain subject to the provisions of the said Part XXIV:
Now, therefore, the Board of Maori Affairs, acting pursuant to the provisions of section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, hereby gives notice as follows.

This notice may be cited as the Maori Land Development Notice Hamilton 1969, Number 5.

The notices referred to in the First Schedule are hereby revoked, being replaced to the extent necessary by notices issued contemporaneously with this notice as set out in the Second Schedule hereto.
