  1. This notice may be cited as the Maori Land Development Notice Hamilton 1969, No. 6.

  2. The land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Maori Land Development Notice

WHEREAS by virtue of the notices described in the First Schedule hereto the land referred to in those notices is now subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas it is desired to release certain of that land from the provisions of the said Part XXIV:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Maori Land Development Notice Rotorua 1969, No. 2.

  2. The notices referred to in the First Schedule hereto are hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft New Zealand standard specification is being circulated:

All persons who may be affected by this specification and who desire to comment thereon may, on application, obtain copies on loan from the Standards Association of New Zealand, Private Bag, Wellington.

Boundaries of the County of Stratford, Ngatimaru, Whangamomona, Mangaehu Ridings of the County of Stratford, County of Inglewood, East Riding of the County of Inglewood, County of Eltham, Eltham and Omoana Ridings of the County of Eltham, County of Hawera, and Ararata Riding of the County of Hawera Defined

PURSUANT to section 16 of the Counties Act 1956, the Secretary for Internal Affairs hereby defines, as set out in the Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the County of Stratford, Ngatimaru, Whangamomona, and Mangaehu Ridings of the County of Stratford, County of Inglewood, East Riding of the County of Inglewood, County of Eltham, Eltham and Omoana Ridings of the County of Eltham, County of Hawera, and Ararata Riding of the County of Hawera; the boundaries having previously been altered by Orders in Council made on 12 February 1962 and published in Gazette, 22 February 1962, No. 13, p. 332, on 9 December 1963 and published in Gazette, 12 December 1963, No. 79, p. 1978, and on 19 October 1967 and published in Gazette, 19 October 1967, No. 66, p. 1820.

BOUNDARIES OF THE COUNTY OF STRATFORD

ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District bounded by a line commencing at the summit of Mount Egmont and proceeding easterly along a right line to the intersection of the west side of Forest Road and the Waipuku Stream; thence down the middle of the Waipuku Stream to its confluence with the Manganui River and up the middle of that river to the northern boundary of Block IX, Huiroa Survey District; thence easterly and southerly along the northern and eastern boundaries of Block IX, Huiroa Survey District, to Croydon Road; thence generally easterly along the northern side of Croydon Road to the south-eastern corner of Section 11, Block X, Huiroa Survey District; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of the said Section 11 of the southern boundary of Section 14, Block X, Huiroa Survey District; thence easterly along the said southern boundary of Section 14 to the western side of the Mangaotea Road; thence southerly along the western side of that road to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 20, Block X, Huiroa Survey District; thence easterly to and along the southern boundary of the said Section 20 to its easternmost point; thence southerly and easterly along the western and southern boundaries of Section 26, Block X, Huiroa Survey District, to the Makara Road; thence northerly along the western side of the Makara Road to a point in line with the southern boundary of Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 5192; thence easterly to and along the southern boundary of the said
