PURSUANT to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 (as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities Loans Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

WHEREAS by virtue of the notices described in the First Schedule hereto the lands referred to in those notices are now subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas it is desired to release certain of those lands from the provisions of the said Part XXIV:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows:

This notice may be cited as the Maori Land Development Notice Hamilton 1969, No. 3.

The notices referred to in the First Schedule hereto are hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.
