Approval of Revolving Amber Lights for Certain Vehicles
PURSUANT to regulation 39 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, the Secretary for Transport hereby approves the fitting of one revolving yellow or amber light on one motor vehicle operated by the North Canterbury Catchment Board, for use subject to the following conditions:
- The light shall only be used whilst the vehicle is engaged in river gauging.
- The vehicle shall be painted a conspicuous colour.
- Adequate reflectorised advance signs shall be erected to warn approaching traffic from both directions.

Proposals for the Manufacture of Motorcar Components
Notice is given that parties interested in manufacturing in New Zealand any of the following motorcar components are invited to submit (in duplicate) proposals to the Department of Industries and Commerce for consideration on or before 3 March 1969. Proposals should cover the following:
- Alternators
- Solenoids
- Contacts
- Brake assemblies
- Clutch assemblies
- Shock absorbers
- Stub axles
- Wheels
The usual criteria as to delivery, quality, and price will apply.

Plant Declared Noxious Weed in the County of Waitemata
(Notice No. Ag. 10368)
PURSUANT to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under section 9 of the Department of Agriculture Act 1953 for the purposes of the said section, the following special order, made by the Waitemata County Council on the 17th day of December 1968, is hereby published.
SPECIAL ORDER
In exercise of the powers conferred upon it by the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Waitemata County Council hereby resolves, by way of special order, that the plant mentioned in the Schedule hereunder shall be declared a noxious weed within the County of Waitemata.
SCHEDULE
Alligator weed (Telanthera philoxeroides).

The Road Classification (Waikato County) Notice 1969
PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1955*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice:
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Waikato County) Notice 1969.

The Waikato County Council's proposed classification of the roads, as set out in the Schedule hereto, is hereby approved.

So much of the warrants dated the 1st day of June 1950† and the 17th day of November 1958‡ as relates to the classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

Roads Classified in Class One
RUSSELL’S Road (from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to the Huntly Borough Boundary).
McVie Road (from the Huntly Borough Boundary to a point 9 chains measured easterly generally along the said road from the said boundary).
Roads Classified in Class Two
Okaeria-Kopuku Road (from a point 1 mile measured south-easterly generally along the said road from Schumakers Road to the No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne)).
Waerenga-Maramarua Road (from the south-western corner of part 2 D.P. 12341 (entrance to open-cast mine) to the No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne)).

Assignment of Foreshore Licence for Jetty at Waipahihi, Lake Taupo
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Secretary for Marine hereby gives notice that the licence granted to Richard Leon Brown on 11 October 1968* to use and occupy part of the foreshore and bed of Lake Taupo, at Waipahihi, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a jetty is hereby assigned to R. V. Properties Ltd. and its successors or assigns.

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 (as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities Loans Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.
