The Traffic (Waikato County) Notice 1969

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waikato County) Notice 1969.

1. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

2. So much of the warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 22nd day of October 1957, as relates to Hopu Hopu Road, at Hopu Hopu, in Waikato County, is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waikato County, at Hopu Hopu:

• Hopu Hopu Road (from No. 1 State Highway (Awanui- Bluff) to a point 64 chains measured westerly generally along the said road from the said highway).

The Traffic (Tauranga County) Notice No. 2, 1969

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Tauranga County) Notice No. 2, 1969.

The area specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

The warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 7th day of April 1961, which relates to Tauranga County, at Bowentown, is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Tauranga County, at Bowentown:

All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point 58 chains measured north-westerly generally along the south-western side of Seaforth Road from Emerton Road; thence along the south-western side of Seaforth Road to a point 43 chains measured south-easterly generally along the said road from Emerton Road; thence due east by a right line to the shore of the Bay of Plenty; thence along the said shore line to a point due east of the commencing point; thence by a right line due west across Seaforth Road to the commencing point.

The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

So much of the warrant under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, dated the 5th day of April 1967, as relates to Kennedy Road, in Napier City, is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Napier City, adjacent to Hawke's Bay County:

• Kennedy Road (from Downing Avenue to the southern boundary of Napier City at the No. 50 State Highway (Napier-Takapau via Fernhill)).
