Removing Maori Warden From Office Under the Maori Welfare Act 1962

PURSUANT to section 7 of the Maori Welfare Act 1962, the Minister of Maori Affairs hereby removes from office the following Maori warden.

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Fire Services Act 1949, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby declares the Borough of Featherston to be an urban fire district by the name of the Featherston Urban Fire District.

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as street the land described in the Schedule hereto.

All that piece of land containing 6.4 perches situated in Block VIII, Wairoa Survey District, City of Manukau, North Auckland R.D., and being part Waioroa River bed; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 22826 (S.O. 44191) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

Declaring Land Taken for a Secondary School in the Borough of Levin

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a secondary school from and after the 3rd day of February 1969.
