Land Taken for Housing Purposes in the City of Lower Hutt

ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Lower Hutt as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 3rd day of February 1969.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

All that piece of land containing 36.9 perches situated in the City of Lower Hutt, Wellington R.D., and being Lot 13, D.P. 1316. All certificate of title, Volume 136, folio 231; Wellington Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 13th day of December 1968.

Amending a Proclamation Taking Land for State Housing Purposes in the City of Porirua

ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby amend the Proclamation dated the 25th day of September 1968 and published in Gazette, 3 October 1968, No. 61, p. 1685, taking land for State housing purposes in the City of Porirua, by deleting from the Schedule of the said Proclamation, the name “Manihawa No. 1” where it appears in the third line of the said Schedule and substituting therefor the name “Mahinawa No. 1”.

Declaring Land in South Auckland Land District, Vested in the South Auckland Education Board as a Site for a School, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the South Auckland Education Board as a site for a school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—PUTARURU BOROUGH

Lot 1, D.P. 35986, and Lot 7, D.P. 15810, being part Section 9, Block I, Village of Putaruru, and Lots 13, 14, 15, and 17, D.P. 17150, being part Section 11, Block X, Patetere North Survey District: area, 1 acre 1 rood 33.65 perches, more or less. Certificates of title, Volume 922, folio 159, Volume 703, folio 69, Volume 386, folio 244, and Volume 389, folio 153.

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 21st day of January 1969

Present:

RIGHT HON. J. R. MARSHALL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

Pursuant to section 175 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Bay of Islands County Council to reclaim from Kerikeri Inlet, Bay of Islands, an area of 1 acre and 20 perches, more or less, as a recreation reserve; as shown, edged red, on plan marked M.D. 13166 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.

Authorising Waiheke Road Board to Reclaim Crown Foreshore at Okahuiti Creek in Putiki Bay, Waiheke Island

Pursuant to section 175 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises Waiheke Road Board to reclaim from the sea at Okahuiti Creek, in Putiki Bay, Waiheke Island, an area of 2 acres 1 rood 0 perches, more or less, as a recreation reserve; as shown, edged red, on plan marked M.D. 13233 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.
