Declaring Land to be Crown Land

ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 265 of the Māori Affairs Act 1953, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

All that piece of land situated in Blocks III and IV, Muriwhenua Survey District, and described as follows:

A. R. P.

Being 8 3 0 Te Neke Block, as shown, edged red, on plan M.L. 1536.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 21st day of January 1969.

Boundaries of Christchurch Drainage District Altered

ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Christchurch District Drainage Act 1951, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that on 1 April 1969 the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be added to, and form part of, the Christchurch Drainage District; and I also proclaim and declare that the said area shall be added to the Paparua subdistrict of the Christchurch Drainage District.

SCHEDULE

All that area in Paparua County, Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the middle line of Paterson Avenue and the middle line of Glovers Road, and proceeding westerly along the middle of Glovers Road, Halswell Road, and Candys Road to the middle of Nottingham Stream; thence north-easterly along the middle of that stream to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Lot 17, D.P. 17266; thence north-westerly to and along that boundary and its production to the middle of Sabys Road; thence north-easterly along the middle of that road and north-westerly along the middle of Quaifes Road to a point 8 chains west of the western side of Sabys Road; thence easterly along a right line at right angles to Quaifes Road a distance of 3 chains; thence south-easterly along a line parallel to, and 3 chains north of, the northern side of Quaifes Road, and north-easterly along a line parallel to, and 3 chains west of the western side of Sabys Road, and north-westerly along a line parallel to, and 3 chains south of the southern side of Halswell Junction Road to the western boundary of R.S. 1033; thence north-easterly along a right line to the south-western corner of Lot 60, D.P. 20411, and continuing north-easterly along the north-western boundaries of the land in that deposited plan and D.P. 19690 to its most northerly corner; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of the land in D.P. 19690 to the south-eastern boundary of R.S. 327X; thence south-westerly along that boundary to its southernmost point; thence south-easterly along the south-western boundary of R.S. 210 and its production to the middle of Halswell Road; thence southerly generally along the middle of Halswell Road and Paterson Avenue to the point of commencement.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 27th day of January 1969.
