TAURANGA CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Electricity Generation Loan 1968, $2,000,000—Second Issue, $200,000
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, at a meeting of the Tauranga City Council held on the 23rd day of June 1969, the following resolution was passed:
“That, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tauranga City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $200,000 authorised to be raised by the Tauranga City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting the Council’s share of the cost of the Mangapapa hydro-electric station on the Wairoa River and incidental work, the said Tauranga City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point nought eight six two cents (.0862c) in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Tauranga City Council electrical supply special rating area; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 15th day of December in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 30 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WAIKATO COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Lower Waikato-Waipa Flood Control Scheme (Section B) Loan 1968, $148,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waikato County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $148,000 authorised to be raised by the Waikato County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting the Council’s share of the Lower Waikato Waipa flood control scheme—Section B, the said Waikato County Council hereby makes a special rate on a graduated scale, according to the classification list of the Lower Waikato Waipa flood control scheme—Section B, Waikato County sector, as follows:
113c per acre on class A land
84c per acre on class B land
56c per acre on class C land
19c per acre on class D land
11c per acre on class E land
8c per acre on class F land
and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be paid yearly on the 1st day of April of each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Waikato County Council held on 26 June 1969.

RANGITIKEI CATCHMENT BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Porewa Valley Control Scheme Loan, $70,000—Fifth Issue, $16,000
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, and all other powers and authorities it enabling, the Rangitikei Catchment Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $16,000, being the fifth part of the Porewa Valley Control Scheme Loan 1964, authorised to be raised by the Rangitikei Catchment Board under the above-mentioned Act for the carrying out of the Porewa Valley Control Scheme, the said Rangitikei Catchment Board hereby appropriates and pledges a special rate upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Porewa Valley Control Scheme rating area, on a graduated scale according to the classification list of the said area, as follows:
0.8622c in the dollar on class A land
0.5015c in the dollar on class B land
0.2416c in the dollar on class C land
0.0432c in the dollar on class D land
0.0259c in the dollar on class E land
0.0086c in the dollar on class F land
0.0690c in the dollar on class U1 land
0.0017c in the dollar on class U2 land
and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Rangitikei River Control Scheme No. 2 Loan, $186,000—Fifth Issue, $24,000
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, and all other powers and authorities it enabling, the Rangitikei Catchment Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $24,000, being the fifth part of the Rangitikei River Control Scheme No. 2 Loan 1965, authorised to be raised by the Rangitikei Catchment Board under the above-mentioned Act for the carrying out of the Rangitikei River Control Scheme No. 2, the said Rangitikei Catchment Board hereby appropriates and pledges a special rate upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Rangitikei River Control Scheme rating area, on a graduated scale according to the classification list of the said area, as follows:
0.1220c in the dollar on class A land
0.0976c in the dollar on class B land
0.0732c in the dollar on class C land
0.0488c in the dollar on class D land
0.0244c in the dollar on class E land
0.0122c in the dollar on class F land
and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RANGIORA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Fire Engine Loan 1969, $4,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rangiora Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of paying the annual charges on a loan of $4,000, being the Fire Engine Loan 1969 of $4,000 authorised to be raised by the Rangiora Borough Council in its capacity as the Rangiora Urban Fire Authority under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of meeting part of the cost of a new fire appliance, the Rangiora Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two eight five cents (.0285c) in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the whole of the borough of Rangiora; and that such special rate be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 5 years or until the loan is paid off.”
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Rangiora Borough Council held on 26 June 1969.
