RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Bulk Water Supply Loan No. 16, 1967, $1,000,000—Third Issue, $600,000

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $600,000 authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of meeting costs and expenses of, and incidental to, the upgrading of the western and northern transmission systems of the bulk water supply, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the dollar set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall, at the lender's option, be for periods of 6, 10, or 20 years from 1 July 1969 or until the loan is fully paid off.

Drainage Redemption Loan No. 59, 1969, $228,000

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $228,000 authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts for redeeming the unpaid balance of a loan raised by the former Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Board in connection with its drainage and sewerage undertaking, which liability was taken over by the Auckland Regional Authority in terms of section 43 of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, plus the costs of raising such loan, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the dollar set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and the rateable values respectively; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall, at the lender's option, be for periods of 6, 10, and 20 years from the 8th day of August 1969 or until the loan is fully paid off."

Drainage Loan No. 52, 1968, $2,100,000—Second Issue, $600,000

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of $600,000 authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-named Acts for the purposes of and incidental to the improving and adding to the Manukau Treatment Plant and main sewer extensions, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the dollar set out in the fourth column of the Schedule attached hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall, at the lender's option, be for periods of 6, 10, or 20 years from 1 July 1969 or until the loan is fully paid off.
