The Standards Act 1965—Draft Amendment to the New Zealand Standard Model Building Bylaw
PURSUANT to the provisions of subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft amendment is being circulated:

D 105 Draft amendment No. 1 to NZS 1900, Model building bylaw—Part 1:1964, Preliminary.
NOTE—The draft comprises a proposed revision of the interpretation clause in respect of the term “building”.
All persons who may be affected by this amendment and who desire to comment thereon may, on application, obtain copies free of charge from the Standards Association of New Zealand, New Zealand Display Centre Building, Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.
The closing date for the receipt of comment is 1 September 1969.

Consenting to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities
PURSUANT to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 (as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities Loans Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

Tariff and Development Board Notice No. 109—Public Inquiry into Import Duties Affecting Pressure Force Feed Oil Cans of Capacities not Exceeding 1¼ Pints (Tariff Item 82.04.22)

Interested parties having forwarded to the Board evidence which they wish to present on the matters referred to in Schedule B of Tariff and Development Board Notice No. 88 (New Zealand Gazette of 27 March 1969), concerning import duties affecting pressure force feed oil cans of capacities not exceeding 1¼ pints, classified in Tariff item 82.04.05 (now 82.04.22), the Board will, in accordance with its normal procedures, conduct a public inquiry in the Boardroom, First Floor, Law Society Building, 26 Waring Taylor Street, Wellington, on Tuesday 26 August 1969, commencing at 10.30 a.m.

Other interested parties are invited to forward to the Board such evidence as they propose to tender during the public inquiry into this matter.

Twelve copies of a typewritten statement of the evidence to be tendered should be lodged with the under-named no later than Thursday, 24 July 1969. In preparing this evidence the “Notes for Guidance of Witnesses”, prepared by the Board, may be of assistance. Copies of these notes may be obtained from the under-named.
