Tariff and Development Board Notice No. 111—Public Inquiry into Import Duties and Import Licensing Affecting Knives and Cutting Blades; for Machines or for Mechanical Appliances (Tariff Item 82.06.00)

  1. Interested parties having forwarded to the Board evidence which they wish to present on the matters referred to in Schedule C to Tariff and Development Board Notice No. 88 (New Zealand Gazette of 27 March 1969), concerning import duties and import licensing affecting knives and cutting blades, for machines or for mechanical appliances, classified in Tariff item 82.06.00, the Board will, in accordance with its normal procedures, conduct a public inquiry in the Boardroom, First Floor, Law Society Building, 26 Waring Taylor Street, Wellington, on Thursday, 28 August 1969, commencing at 10.30 a.m.

  2. Other interested parties are invited to forward to the Board such evidence as they propose to tender during the public inquiry into this matter.

  3. Twelve copies of a typewritten statement of the evidence to be tendered should be lodged with the under-named no later than Thursday, 24 July 1969. In preparing this evidence the "Notes for Guidance of Witnesses", prepared by the Board, may be of assistance. Copies of these notes may be obtained from the under-named.

Tariff and Development Board Notice No. 112—Public Inquiry into Import Duties Affecting Paint Mixers (or Stirrers) (Ex Tariff Item 82.05.09)

  1. Interested parties having forwarded to the Board evidence which they wish to present on the matters referred to in Schedule B to Tariff and Development Board Notice No. 94 (New Zealand Gazette of 17 April 1969), concerning import duties affecting paint mixers (or stirrers), for use with hand or power drills, classified in Tariff item 82.05.09 (now 82.05.03), the Board will, in accordance with its normal procedures, conduct a public inquiry in the Boardroom, First Floor, Law Society Building, 26 Waring Taylor Street, Wellington, on Tuesday, 16 September 1969, commencing at 10.30 a.m.

  2. Other interested parties are invited to forward to the Board such evidence as they propose to tender during the public inquiry into this matter.

  3. Twelve copies of a typewritten statement of the evidence to be tendered should be lodged with the under-named no later than Thursday, 21 August 1969. In preparing this evidence the "Notes for Guidance of Witnesses", prepared by the Board, may be of assistance. Copies of these notes may be obtained from the under-named.
