Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation
PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purposes of a church site, burial ground, place of historical interest (Hinemoa’s Stone), meeting place, and sports and recreation ground for the common use and benefit of the Maori people generally.

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a burial ground for the common use of the descendants of Rangimato-toru Watene.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation
PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation, for the purposes of a meeting place for the common use and benefit of the members of the Ngati Tuwharetoa tribe and to be called Pukawa Reserve.

NOTICE is given that, pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purposes of a meeting place, recreation ground, sports ground, church site, burial ground, place of historical interest, and cultural centre for the common use and benefit of the owners, being descendants of Turangitukua.

Cancelling Maori Reservation
WHEREAS by Order in Council of 3 December 1958, published in Gazette, 11 December 1958, No. 76, p. 1821, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto was set apart as a Maori reservation for the common use and benefit of the Ngati Hinekura Hapu of the Ngati Pikiao subtribe:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 439 (5) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, such reservation is hereby cancelled.

Maori Land Development Notice
WHEREAS by virtue of the notice described in the First Schedule hereto the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas by subsequent order of the Maori Land Court the appellation of the land has been changed; and whereas it is desired to release part of that land from the provisions of Part XXIV, aforesaid, and to retain the balance under the provisions of Part XXIV under the current appellation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to sections 330 and 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs, hereby gives notice as follows.
NOTICE
- This notice may be cited as the Maori Land Development Notice Whangarei 1969, No. 12.
- The notice described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.
- The land described in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby released from the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.
- The land described in the Fourth Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.
