Land Proclaimed as Street, Street Closed and Added to Adjoining Land in the Borough of Taupo

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as street the land described in the First Schedule hereto; also hereby proclaims that the street described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby closed and added to the land taken for a police station and courthouse by a Proclamation dated 22 August 1908, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 27 August 1908, at page 2303; and also hereby proclaims that the street described in the Third Schedule is hereby closed and added to that part of the Taupo Domain, being part Section 1, Block XXXIV, Taupo Township, described in the Order in Council dated 30 January 1939, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 9 February 1939, at page 178.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby revokes the Declaration, dated 24 March 1969, and published in Gazette, No. 19, of 2 April of the same year, at page 612, proclaiming road closed and added to land held for an automatic telephone exchange; and hereby proclaims that the road described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby closed and added to the land held for an automatic telephone exchange described in the Second Schedule hereto.
