Amending Licence—Stewart Island Fishermen’s Co-operative
Ltd.—Wharf Extension and Shed—Half-Moon Bay
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine
hereby amends the licence notified in the Gazette on 21 March
1968, at page 471, authorising Stewart Island Fishermen’s
Co-operative Ltd. to use and occupy part of the bed of the
sea at Half-Moon Bay, Stewart Island, as a site for an extension
(with shed) to the Half-Moon Bay Wharf, by revoking condi-
tion 3 in the Schedule to the licence and substituting therefor:
(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be 10 dollars
($10) and the annual sum payable by the licensee shall be 10
cents (10c), payable on demand.

The Traffic (Rotorua County) Notice No. 3, 1969
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport
hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
THIS notice may be cited as the Traffic (Rotorua County)
Notice No. 3, 1969.
The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby
declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the
purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
The Warrant under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and
regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 30th
day of January 1967†, which relates to Rotorua County, at
Tihi-o-Tonga, is hereby revoked.

SITUATED within Rotorua County, Tihi-o-Tonga:

The Traffic (Otamatea County) Notice No. 2, 1969
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport
hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
-
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Otamatea County)
Notice No. 2, 1969. -
The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby
declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of
section 52 of the Transport Act 1962. -
The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby
declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the
purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*. -
The Warrants under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949
and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the
19th day of February 1957† and the 17th day of March 1958‡,
which relate to Otamatea County are hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED in Otamatea County, at Maungaturoto:
No. 12 State Highway (Ohakawai-Maungaturoto via Darga-
ville) (from a point 16 chains measured south-westerly
generally along the said State highway from Waipu Gorge
Road to a point 10 chains measured easterly generally along
the said State highway from Bickerstaffe Road).
Waipu Gorge Road (from the No. 12 State Highway
(Ohakawai-Maungaturoto via Dargaville) to a point 7 chains
measured north-westerly generally along Waipu Gorge Road
from the said State highway).
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED in Otamatea County, at Maungaturoto:
No. 12 State Highway (Ohakawai-Maungaturoto via Darga-
ville) (from a point 10 chains measured easterly generally
along the said State highway from Bickerstaffe Road to a point
2 chains measured easterly generally along the said State high-
way from Doctors Hill Road).

Additional Land near Pukehu Taken for the Purposes of the
Foxton-New Plymouth Railway (Opunake Branch) and
for Road Diversion in Connection Therewith
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of
Railways hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that
effect having been entered into, the land described in the
First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the
Foxton-New Plymouth Railway (Opunake Branch) and the
land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for road diversion in connection therewith.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken:

0 0 39.4 Part railway land in Proclamation No. 723, situated
in Block XIV, Opunake Survey District; coloured
blue.
Situated in the Egmont County (S.O. 10005).
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked L.O. 23289 deposited in the office of the Minister of
Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above-
mentioned.
