Declaring a Leasehold Estate in Land Taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block VII, Waitahu Survey District, Horowhenua County

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement
to that effect having been entered into, the leasehold estate in
the land described in the Schedule hereto, held by Herbert
Walter Dorset, of Manakau, farmer, under and by virtue of
Crown renewable lease No. R.L.F. 657, recorded in Register
Book No. C. 3/1180, Wellington Land Registry, is hereby
taken for the purposes of a road from and after the 2nd day
of June 1969.

Declaring Land and a Drainage Easement over Land Taken for Drainage Purposes in the City of Auckland

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement
to that effect having been entered into, the land described in
the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for drainage purposes
and shall vest in the Auckland Regional Authority (hereinafter
referred to as “the Authority”) from and after the date herein-
after mentioned, and that a drainage easement is hereby taken
for drainage purposes over the land described in the Second
Schedule hereto, vesting in the Authority from and after the
date hereinafter mentioned the full, free, uninterrupted, and
unrestricted right, liberty, and privilege for the Authority, its
servants, agents, and workmen, contractors, licensees, and
invitees, from time to time and at all times, to drain, discharge,
or convey sewage and other waste material and fluid, in any
quantities, in pipes laid along the land described in the Second
Schedule hereto, together with the additional rights incidental
thereto to use any pipes already laid on the said land or any
pipes in replacement or substitution thereof, to lay, place, and
maintain pipes under the surface of the said land, and the full,
free, uninterrupted, and unrestricted right, liberty, and privilege
for the Authority or its servants, agents, and workmen, with
any tools, implements, machinery, vehicles, or equipment of
whatsoever nature necessary for the purpose, to enter upon the
said land and to remain there for any reasonable time for the
purpose of laying, inspecting, cleaning, repairing, maintaining,
and renewing the pipelines or any part thereof and of opening
up the soil of that land to such an extent as may be necessary
and reasonable in that regard, such easement to be forever
appurtenant to the land described in the said First Schedule;
and, further, declares that this declaration shall have effect
from and after the 2nd day of June 1969.

ALL that piece of land containing 1.4 perches situated in Block
III, Titirangi Survey District, City of Auckland, North Auck-
