RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Waikareao Bridge Renewal Loan No. 2, 1969—$26,000
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, at a meeting of the Tauranga City Council held on 28 April 1969, the following resolution was passed:
“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tauranga City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $26,000 authorised to be raised by the Tauranga City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of refinancing securities maturing on 15 May 1969, the said Tauranga City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point nought nought five five one cents (.00551c) in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Tauranga; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 15th day of May and 15th day of November in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 23 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION TO MAKE SPECIAL RATE

Redemption Loan No. 34, 1969—$35,000
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000) authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Reserves Development Loan (No. 3) 1956—$48,000, the Drainage (Harbour Reclamation) Loan, 1956—$21,800, and the Normandale Sewerage Loan 1957—$48,000 which mature on 15 July, 1 October, and 1 December the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.035 of a cent in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) on all rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 15 years, or until such time as the loan is repaid.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at the meeting of the Lower Hutt City Council on 28 April 1969.

RESOLUTION TO MAKE SPECIAL RATE

Redemption Loan No. 33, 1969—$9,000
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of nine thousand dollars ($9,000) authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Streets Reconstruction Loan (No. 13) 1963—$75,000 which matures on 1 September 1969 the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.016 of a cent in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) on all rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 6 years, or until such time as the loan is repaid.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Maoribank - Te Marua Water Supply Additional Loan 1969—$30,000
I certify that the Hutt County Council passed the following resolution at its meeting on 1 May 1969:
“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $30,000 authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing reticulation work and the construction of a 100,000 gallons reservoir and ancillary works in the Maoribank - Te Marua area, the Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of .056 (decimal nought five six) cents in the dollar upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the No. 61 special rating area of the Rimutaka Riding of the County of Hutt; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on 1 April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Land Purchase Loan, 1968—$250,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, and all other powers it in that behalf enabling, the Christchurch City Council hereby resolves:
“That, for the purpose of providing principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of two hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) authorised to be raised by the Christchurch City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land required for roadworks, the said Christchurch City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of .000169 (decimal nought nought nought one six nine) cents in the dollar on the rateable value, on the basis of the unimproved value, of all rateable property comprised within the City of Christchurch; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate, payable on demand during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The Christchurch City Council, at a meeting held on the 21st day of April 1969, passed the above resolution.

PURSUANT to the Counties Act 1956, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and amendments thereto, the Akaroa County Council hereby resolves as follows:
