LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION TO MAKE SPECIAL RATE
Redemption Loan No. 23, 1969—$119,000
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of one hundred and nineteen thousand dollars ($119,000) authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity, those portions of the Waterworks Loan 1958—$274,000; Redemption Loan No. 9, 1963—$156,000; Stokes Valley Water and Sewerage Loan 1957—$296,400; Stokes Valley Water and Sewerage Loan No. 2, 1961—$336,000; Redemption Loan (No. 10) 1963—$104,000 which mature on 10 April, 1 September, and 1 December 1969 and on 1 March 1970, the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.109 of a cent in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) on all rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 15 years, or until such time as the loan is repaid.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at the meeting of the Lower Hutt City Council on 24 March 1969.

CITY OF PORIRUA
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Porirua City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of $76,000 authorised to be raised by the Porirua City Council under the above-mentioned Act for Pensioner Housing Loan 1968, the said Porirua City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0257 cents in the dollar upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the whole of the City of Porirua; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 14th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 40 years, or until the loan is fully paid off”.
I certify that the foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Porirua City Council held on 26 March 1969.

TIMARU CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Storm-water Drainage Loan 1969—$110,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Timaru City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That for the purpose of providing the annual charge on the loan of $110,000, to be known as the Storm-water Drainage Loan 1969, authorised to be raised by the Timaru City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of renewing the George Street storm-water drain from Bank Street to Le Cren Street and realigning the Whales Creek Gully storm-water drain from Nelson Terrace to Seaview Terrace, the said Timaru City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one two one (.121) cents in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Timaru; and that the said special rate during the currency of the said loan and be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 10 years or until such loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Timaru City Council held on the 31st day of March 1969.

DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Dunedin City Development Loan No. 2, 1969, of $1,250,000
Copy of resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on Monday, 31 March 1969:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $1,250,000 authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting part of the cost of augmenting the city water supply, the said Dunedin City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.1563c in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the above-mentioned date.

Dunedin City Development Loan No. 3, 1969, of $19,000
Copy of resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on Monday, 31 March 1969:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $19,000 authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting flats for purchase by elderly citizens and making advances to purchasers, the said Dunedin City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0022c in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the above-mentioned date.

NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made by Henderson Book Shop Ltd., care of Ozich Buildings, Great North Road, Henderson, for consent to a conditional use as to the land hereinafter described to enable the same to be used by the applicant for the purpose of a showroom, bulk store, and offices.
The property is situate on the corner of Catherine Street and John Street, in the Borough of Henderson, and is located in a Commercial “B2” zone.
The legal description of the land is 32 perches, more or less, being part Lot 63, Deeds Plan No. 33, being part of Allotment 7 of the Parish of Waipareira and the whole of the land in certificate of title, Volume 984, folio 179 (North Auckland Land Registry).
