The application and plan of the proposed building may be examined at the office of the Henderson Borough Council, Thomas Street, Henderson, during normal office hours, and any person or body affected may object to the application by notice in writing delivered to the Town Clerk, Henderson Borough Council, Henderson, not later than 4 p.m. on the 5th day of May 1969. Every objector shall state the grounds of the objection and whether the objector wishes to be heard by the Council in support of his objection.

BOROUGH OF MOUNT ROSKILL
SPECIAL ORDER—CONSOLIDATION OF SPECIAL RATES
NOTICE is hereby given that the following resolution, intended to operate as a special order, was passed at a special meeting of the Mount Roskill Borough Council, convened for that purpose and held on the 4th day of March 1969, and was confirmed at an ordinary meeting of the Mount Roskill Borough Council, held in the Municipal Chambers, Three Kings, Mount Roskill, at 7.30 p.m. on Tuesday, 1 April 1969.
That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by section 108A of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, as enacted by section 10 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1959 and all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the Mount Roskill Borough Council hereby resolves, by way of special order, instead of levying the special rates specified in the Schedule hereto, to make a uniform consolidated special rate of one decimal one nine seven five (1.1975) cents in the dollar ($) on all rateable property within the Borough of Mount Roskill, and the same is hereby made an annually recurring rate for the purpose of paying the annual charges plus ten percent (10%) thereof, payable in respect of the loans secured by those special rates.
And the Mount Roskill Borough Council hereby further resolves that the consolidated special rate shall be payable in one sum, on the 1st day of April in each year, at the Council Chambers, corner Three Kings and Mount Albert Roads, Mount Roskill, to George Walter Stephenson; or at such other place or to such other person for the time being authorised by Council.

NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF CLASSIFICATION LIST
Waikura River (Hangaroa-Tahora Road)—Channel Clearing Scheme—Classification, under Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, of Land in the Hawke’s Bay Catchment District
NOTICE is hereby given that—
(a) the land in the part of the Hawke’s Bay Catchment District described in the Schedule hereto has been classified under the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, and the classification is deemed a valid classification as from the date on which this notice is first published, namely, the 31st day of March 1969;
(b) the proportions in which rates are to be imposed under that Act on the several classes of land are as follows—

(c) the classification list shows the division of properties into classes to be rated according to a graduated scale;
(d) the classification list may be inspected at the Board’s office, Browning Street, Napier, and the Cook County Council, Gladstone Road, Gisborne, during a period of 28 days hereafter;
(e) the classification list is deemed to be a special roll of ratepayers for the purposes of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956;
(f) any person who is dissatisfied in respect of any matter appearing in the classification list has the rights of appeal provided for by section 103 of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, as substituted by section 18 of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Amendment Act 1959, which rights, and any other right to commence proceedings affecting the classification, must be exercised within 49 days hereafter. Appeals will normally be made to a Magistrate’s Court, but appeals in respect of the method of making or of the form or validity of the classification as a whole may be made to the Land Valuation Court only;
(g) the classification has been made by Mr R. G. Drummond;
(h) copies of the instructions given by the Board to the classifier and of the resolutions of the Board relative to the classification may be inspected at the places and during the period specified in paragraph (d) of this notice.
