ELLERSLIE BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Sewer Drainage Loan 1968, $116,000
That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $116,000, authorised to be raised by the Ellerslie
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of providing sewer drainage for that portion of the
borough not yet served, the said Ellerslie Borough Council
hereby makes a special rate of decimal six seven cents (.67c)
in the dollar ($1) upon the rateable value of all rateable
property in the Borough of Ellerslie; and that the special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the
loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 15th day of April and
the 15th day of October in each year and every year during
the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.

EAST COAST BAYS BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Beach Properties Loan 1968—$60,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the East
Coast Bays Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $60,000 authorised to be raised by the East Coast
Bays Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of purchasing beach properties for reserve, the said
East Coast Bays Borough Council hereby makes a special rate
of 0.045268c in the dollar upon the rateable value upon the
basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in
the Borough of East Coast Bays; and that the special rate
be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and
every year during the currency of the loan or until the loan
is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed
by the East Coast Bays Borough Council at a meeting held
on 2 April 1969.

KIWITEA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Rural Housing Loan No. 2, 1968, $30,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Kiwitea County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of thirty thousand dollars ($30,000), authorised to
be raised by the Kiwitea County Council under the above-
mentioned Act for the purposes of the Rural Housing Act 1939,
the said Kiwitea County Council hereby makes a special rate
of 0.06752 cents in the dollar on the rateable value of all
rateable property in the whole of the County of Kiwitea; and
that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during
the currency of the loan, and be payable on the 1st day of April
in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being
a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid.

CITY OF UPPER HUTT
RESOLUTION TO MAKE SPECIAL RATE
Civic Centre Development Loan No. 2, 1969, of $270,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Upper Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing for the annual charges
on a loan of $270,000 authorised to be raised under the
above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing a civic
hall, including equipment, site works, and layout of grounds,
the said Upper Hutt City Council hereby makes a special
rate of decimal 103 cents in the dollar on the rateable value
(on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable
property in the City of Upper Hutt; and that such special
rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency
of the said loan and shall be paid yearly, on the 1st day of
April in each and every year until the loan is fully repaid."
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Upper Hutt City Council held on the 25th day of March
1969.

LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION TO MAKE SPECIAL RATE
Redemption Loan No. 31, 1969—$84,000
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of eighty-four thousand dollars ($84,000)
authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council
under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying
on maturity those portions of the Stormwater Drainage Loan
1958—$24,000; Streets Reconstruction Loan (No. 4) 1958—
$134,000; Redemption Loan No. 8, 1963—$80,000 which
mature on 10 April, 15 July, 1 September, and 1 December
1969, the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and
levies a special rate of 0.119 of a cent in the dollar on the
rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) on all
rateable property in the city of Lower Hutt; and that such
special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on or about
the 1st day of August in each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being a period of 10 years, or until
such time as the loan is repaid."
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed
at the meeting of the Lower Hutt City Council held on 24
March 1969.
