WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council
proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the con-
struction of a public road, for which purpose the land
described in the Schedule hereto requires to be taken by the
Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928.
A plan of the land required to be taken, as aforesaid, lies
open to public inspection at the office of the Council in Bank
Street, Te Awamutu.
Every person affected is hereby called upon to set forth, in
writing, any objection he may wish to make to the execution of
such work or to the taking of such land, not being an objection
to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send such
written objection to the Waipa County Council, within 40
days from the first publication of this notice. A public hearing
of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise
requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and
place of the hearing.

NAPIER CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD
IN the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and
the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the
Napier City Council proposes, under the provisions of the
above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely,
the continuation and widening of Lee Road, in the City of
Napier, from the intersection of Meeanee Road and Lee Road
to Gloucester Street; and, for the purposes of such public
work, the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required
to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of
the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public
office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situated in
Hastings Street, Napier, and is open for inspection, without
fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or by the taking of such lands, who have any objections
to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of
the said lands, not being an objection to the amount or pay-
ment of compensation, must state their objections, in writing,
and send the same, within forty (40) days from the first publi-
cation of this notice, to the Town Clerk at the Council Cham-
