Constituting Herald Island-Whenuapai Urban Fire District

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Fire Services Act 1949, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby declares the urban area of Herald Island and Whenuapai, as defined in plan notated No. 3227 held in the offices of the Fire Service Council, to be an urban fire district by the name of the Herald Island-Whenuapai Urban Fire District.

Declaring Land Taken for Road and for the Purposes of a Road in Block VII, Pomahaka Survey District, Clutha County

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Clutha from and after the 8th day of April 1969.

Road Closed and Added to Land Held for an Automatic Telephone Exchange in Block V, Matakaoa Survey District, Waiapu County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Act 1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims that the road described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby closed and added to the land held for an automatic telephone exchange described in the Second Schedule hereto.

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT

ALL that portion of road containing 9.6 perches situated in Block V, Matakaoa Survey District, Waiapu County, Gisborne R.D., adjoining or passing through Section 3; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 22669 (S.O. 5742) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.


SECOND SCHEDULE

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 5 perches situated in Block V, Matakaoa Survey District, Waiapu County, Gisborne R.D., and being part Section 3; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 22669 (S.O. 5742) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Licence at Riverton Harbour

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Eric Ronald Haggety and Robert George Haggety (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include their administrators, executors, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea in Riverton Harbour, as shown on plan marked M.D. 13260 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a wharf, walkway, and shed, as shown on the said plan; such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as they are applicable, apply hereto.

  2. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of February 1969.

  3. The premium payable by the licensee shall be 10 dollars ($10) and the annual sum payable by the licensee shall be 16 dollars ($16).
