HAURAKI PLAINS COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hauraki Plains County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $100,000 authorised to be raised by the Hauraki Plains County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Hauraki Plains County Council hereby makes a special rate of $0.00147 in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Hauraki Plains County, comprising the whole of the County of Hauraki Plains; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, during a period of 30 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

We hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council held at the County Council Chambers, Ngatea, on Wednesday, the 12th day of February 1969.

BAY OF PLENTY ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PUBIC notice is hereby given that, at a meeting of the Bay of Plenty Electric Power Board, held on the 11th day of March 1969, the following resolution was passed:

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Bay of Plenty Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $200,000 authorised to be raised by the Bay of Plenty Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of improving and extending the reticulation in the Bay of Plenty Electric Power District, and for such purposes to do all or any of such matters and things which the Board is empowered to do by the Electric Power Boards Act 1925 and its amendments, and by all other powers and authorities it enabling, the said Bay of Plenty Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of point one five seven of one cent (.157c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Bay of Plenty Electric Power District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 15th day of June and the 15th day of December in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

POVERTY BAY CATCHMENT BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Matawhero Cut Development Loan 1968, $122,800

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Poverty Bay Catchment Board hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $122,800 authorised to be raised by the Poverty Bay Catchment Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of developing the Matawhero cut to enable the Waipaoa River flood control scheme to be completed, the Poverty Bay Catchment Board hereby makes a special rate in the $1 upon the rateable capital value of all rateable property in the various classes within the Waipaoa River Flood Control Scheme Rating Area, as defined by the classification list prepared and adopted by the Board on 4 May 1951, as follows:

Class A—0.269337c.
Class B—0.176105c.
Class C—0.103591c.
Class D—0.051796c.
Class E—0.020718c.
Class F—0.004144c.

That the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

The foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Poverty Bay Catchment Board held on 13 March 1969.

PAPARUA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Paparua County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges of a loan of $101,400 authorised to be raised by the Paparua County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the High Pressure Water Supply Loan 1958, of $472,000, which matures on 1 July 1969, the said Paparua County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.011105c in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Sockburn and Hornby County Towns and the Islington Township; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

AWATERE COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Awatere County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $7,000 authorised to be raised by the Awatere County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purchasing of a new fire appliance, the said Awatere County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.01465c in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole County of Awatere; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

IN THE MATTER of The Charitable Trusts Act 1957, Part IV, AND IN THE MATTER of the Martinborough Combined Interhouse Marching Team’s Queen Carnival Fund:

THE trustees of the Martinborough Combined Interhouse Team’s Queen Carnival Fund hereby give notice that application has been made to the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Masterton for the approval, under Part IV of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, of the scheme, particulars of which are set out hereunder, for the disposal for other charitable purposes of charitable funds raised by voluntary contribution during a queen carnival held at Martinborough in the year nineteen hundred and forty-six.
