Maori Land Development Notice

WHEREAS by virtue of the notices described in the First Schedule hereto the land referred to in those notices was declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas certain of the land was partitioned by subsequent orders of the Maori Land Court and part was released from the provisions of the said Part XXIV; and whereas it is desired to replace the notices aforesaid by a further notice referring to the land still subject to Part XXIV under the current appellations:
Now, therefore, the Board of Maori Affairs, acting pursuant to the provision of section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, hereby gives notice as follows.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Maori Land Development Notice Hamilton 1969, No. 24.
  2. The notices referred to in the First Schedule hereto are hereby revoked.
  3. The land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Amending Notice Appointing Honorary Launch Wardens

PURSUANT to sections 7 and 265A of the Harbours Act 1950, the Secretary for Marine hereby amends the notice of 16 November 1965, appointing persons to be honorary launch wardens for the purposes of the Harbours Act 1950, by omitting the words "Rowland Gould Sydney" and substituting therefor the words "Sydney Rowland Gould, J.P.".

Notice of Varied Hours for Sale of Liquor at the Shamrock Hotel, Fairfax

PURSUANT to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as inserted by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act (No. 2) 1967, I, John Lochiel Robson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Southland Licensing Committee, on 13 December 1968, made an order fixing hours other than the usual hours for opening and closing the Shamrock Hotel, Fairfax, for the sale of liquor to the public, as follows:
On the Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday of the Easter period each year, open at 9 a.m. and close at 2 p.m., re-open at 4 p.m. and close at 10 p.m.

PURSUANT to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as inserted by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act (No. 2) 1967, I, John Lochiel Robson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Waikato Licensing Committee, on 14 February 1969, made orders fixing hours other than the usual hours for opening and closing hotel premises for sale of liquor to the public, as follows:
Waihou Hotel, Waihou-
Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, open at 9 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.
Kopu Station Hotel, Kopu-
Mondays to Thursdays inclusive, open at 9 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.
Fridays and Saturdays, open at 9 a.m. and close at 2 p.m., re-open at 4 p.m. and close at 10 p.m.

Approval of Red Reflectors for Motor Vehicles (Other Than Heavy Goods Service Vehicles) in terms of the Traffic Regulations 1956

PURSUANT to regulation 49 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, the Secretary for Transport hereby approves, for the purposes of regulation 41 (2) of the said regulations, red reflectors of the make and type described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

TAIL lamp assemblies incorporating reflex red reflectors marked "Stanley RR30 made in Japan, SSAE B67," fitted as standard equipment to Mitsubishi Colt motor vehicles.

Exemption from Mudguards on Motor Vehicles Not Capable of a Speed Exceeding 20 mph

PURSUANT to regulation 25A of the Traffic Regulations 1956, the Secretary for Transport hereby exempts motor vehicles not capable of a speed in excess of 20 miles an hour, together with any trailers drawn by such motor vehicles, from the requirements of regulation 51AA of the said regulations, relating to mudguards.
