Tariff and Development Board Notice No. 86—Public Inquiry into Import Duties and Import Licensing Affecting Spades
INTERESTED parties having forwarded to the Board evidence which they wish to present on the matters referred to in Schedule D to Tariff and Development Board Notice No. 80 (New Zealand Gazette of 12 December 1968, No. 82, p. 2316), concerning import duties and import licensing on spades, classified under Tariff items 82.01.01 and 82.01.02, the Board will, in accordance with its normal procedures, conduct a public inquiry in the Boardroom, First Floor, Law Society Building, 26 Waring Taylor Street, Wellington, on Thursday, 27 March 1969, commencing at 10.30 a.m.

Tariff and Development Board Notice No. 87—Public Inquiry into Import Duties and Import Licensing Affecting Armoured Suction and Delivery Hose Suited for the Conveyance of Oil Products
INTERESTED parties having forwarded to the Board evidence which they wish to present on the matters referred to in Schedule E to Tariff and Development Board Notice No. 80 (New Zealand Gazette of 12 December 1968, No. 82, p. 2316), concerning import duties and import licensing on armoured suction and delivery hose of internal diameters up to 6 in; suitable for the conveyance of oil products, classified under Tariff items 59.15.01 and 59.15.09, the Board will, in accordance with its normal procedures, conduct a public inquiry in the Boardroom, First Floor, Law Society Building, 26 Waring Taylor Street, Wellington, on Friday, 28 March 1969, commencing at 10.30 a.m.

Average Price for Apples and Pears for the 1968-69 Season Declared (Notice No. Ag. 10385)
Pursuant to section 18G of the Apple and Pear Marketing Act 1948, notice is hereby given that the Apple and Pear Prices Authority has determined that the average price to be paid to growers by the New Zealand Apple and Pear Marketing Board for apples and pears grown during the 1968-69 season shall be 97c per bushel of bare fruit, ungraded and unpacked, and delivered to the receiving depot of the Board nearest to the orchard on which the fruit was grown.

Consenting to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities
Pursuant to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 (as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities Loans Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

Advanced Prices for Cheese Intended for Export
Pursuant to the Dairy Board Act 1961, the New Zealand Dairy Board has fixed the prices to be paid for all cheese manufactured from milk or cream delivered to a dairy factory in the season commencing on the 1st day of June 1968 and acquired by the New Zealand Dairy Board, pursuant to Part II of the said Act, at the several prices and upon the terms, stipulations, and conditions following, that is to say:
- In the case of New Zealand rindless cheddar cheese-60 lb to which is assigned one or other of the following respective grades and which is allotted points in grading within the range of the following respective grade points under the said regulations-
(a) For “Finest” grade, 94 points or over, the price of 17.00c per pound;
(b) For “Finest” grade, 93 points or over but under 94 points, the price of 16.80c per pound;
(c) For “First” grade, 92 points or over but under 93 points, the basic price of 15.95c per pound;
(d) For “First” grade, 91 points or over but under 92 points, the price of 15.75c per pound;
(e) For “Graded”, 88 points or over but under 91 points, the price of 14.90c per pound;
(f) For “Seconds”, 80 points or over but under 88 points, the price of 12.85c per pound.
