BOROUGH OF TAUPO

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

A.C. Baths Development Loan 1968, $112,000

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, at a meeting of the Taupo Borough Council held on the 24th day of February 1969, the following resolution was passed:

“That, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taupo Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred and twelve thousand dollars authorised to be raised by the Taupo Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting part of the cost of stage I development of the A.C. Baths, the said Taupo Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nine eight four three cents in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Taupo, comprising the whole of the Borough of Taupo; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off”.

TAURANGA CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Electricity Generation Loan 1968—$2,000,000—First Issue, $400,000

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, at a special meeting of the Tauranga City Council held on the 10th day of February 1969, the following resolution was passed:

“That, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tauranga City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $400,000 authorised to be raised by the Tauranga City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting the Council’s share of the cost of the Mangapapa hydro-electric station on the Wairoa River and incidental work, the said Tauranga City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point three nought two nine cents (.3029c) in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Tauranga City Council electrical supply special rating area; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 30 years or until the loan is fully paid off”.

NAPIER CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION PLEDGING SPECIAL RATE

Pirimai Flats Loan No. 2, 1968—$23,100

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Napier City Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of twenty-three thousand and one hundred dollars ($23,100) authorised to be raised by the Napier City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting pensioner flats, the said Napier City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought nought five (.005) of a cent (c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Napier; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 14th day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WANGANUI-RANGITIKEI ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric-power Board hereby resolves—

“That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest and repayment charges and all other expenses on the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric-power Board’s Renewal Loan 1969 of $60,000 to be raised pursuant to the above-mentioned authority the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought nought five of a cent (.005c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all the rateable property in the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric-power Board District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the aforesaid loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, but not exceeding a period of 10 years”.

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric-power Board held on 18 February 1969.

WAIRARAPA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Development Loan 1968, $400,000

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, at a meeting of the Wairarapa Electric Power Board held on the 20th day of February 1969, the following resolution was passed:

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the the Wairarapa Electric Power Board resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $400,000 authorised to be raised by the Wairarapa Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of supplying and distributing power within the Wairarapa Electric Power District, the said Wairarapa Electric Power Board makes a special rate of decimal nought two five eight two cents (.02582c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value on the basis of the capital value of all rateable property of the Wairarapa Electric Power District; and that the special rate be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of December in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off”.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Redemption Loan 1969, No. 4, $40,000

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, at a meeting of the Wairarapa Electric Power Board held on the 20th day of February 1969, the following resolution was passed:

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wairarapa Electric Power Board resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $40,000 authorised to be raised by the Wairarapa Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of paying on maturity that portion of the Reticulation Extension Loan 1956, $380,000, second portion $240,000, part 2 of $80,000, which matures on 1 May 1969, the said Wairarapa Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought four one two cents (.00412c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value on the basis of the capital value of all rateable property of the Wairarapa Electric Power District; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of December in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off”.
