RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Redemption Loan 1969, No. 3, $72,000
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, at a meeting of the Wairarapa Electric Power Board held on the 12th day of December 1968, the following resolution was passed:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wairarapa Electric Power Board resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $72,000 authorised to be raised by the Wairarapa Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of paying on maturity that portion of the Reticulation Extension Loan 1956, $380,000, first portion $140,000, part of $72,000, which matures on 31 January 1969, the said Wairarapa Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought seven three two cents (.00732c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value on the basis of the capital value of all rateable property of the Wairarapa Electric Power District; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of December in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off”.

PETONE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION LEVYING SECURITY RATE

Land Purchase Loan No. 3, 1967—$50,000
IN pursuance of exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and all other powers it thereunto enabling, the Petone Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the above loan of $50,000 authorised to be raised under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Petone Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point nought one one five three cents (.01153c) in the dollar on the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Petone, comprising the whole of the Borough of Petone; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of thirty-five (35) years or until the loan is fully paid off.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Wellington City Renewal Loan No. 1, 1969, of $80,000
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 3rd day of February 1969:
“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of eighty thousand dollars ($80,000) to be known as the Wellington City Renewal Loan No. 1, 1969, of $80,000, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of Transport Loan 1955—$1,888,000 and Aerodrome Development Loan No. 2, 1955—$200,000 which mature on 1 April 1969, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought eight of a cent (.008c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of eleven (11) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

NELSON CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Nelson City Council hereby resolves that, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of $118,000 to be known as the “Sands Reserve Reclamation Loan 1968” authorised to be raised by the Nelson City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of reclaiming, draining, and providing a sands reserve with sports and boating areas and facilities, the Nelson City Council hereby makes and levies the special rate of 0.05404c in the dollar upon the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all the rateable property in the City of Nelson, comprising the whole of the said city; and such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 15th day of August each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until such loan is paid off.
I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed by the Nelson City Council at a meeting held in the City Council Chambers, Trafalgar Square, Nelson, on the 20th day of February 1969.

COUNTY OF KAIKOURA

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan 1969, $6,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kaikoura County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of six thousand dollars ($6,000) authorised to be raised by the Kaikoura County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making an advance to a farmer pursuant to the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Kaikoura County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal 005 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value, on the basis of the capital value, of all the rateable property comprised in the whole of the County of Kaikoura; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

AUCKLAND REGIONAL AUTHORITY

SPECIAL ORDER
—
IN exercise of the powers vested in it by the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, section 42, and in pursuance of the authority conferred on it under the Local Authority Loans Act 1956, and in exercise of all other powers enabling it on that behalf, the Auckland Regional Authority doth hereby resolve, by special resolution intended to operate as a special order, to borrow the sum of $140,000 as a special loan to be known as Bulk Water Supply Loan No. 17, 1967, $500,000—Second Issue, $140,000, for the purposes of meeting the costs of and incidental to the continued development of the Hunua Catchment of the bulk water supply system.
The foregoing special order was passed at a special meeting of the Auckland Regional Authority, convened for that purpose and held on 16 December 1968, and confirmed at an ordinary meeting of the said Authority held on 17 February 1969, having meantime been advertised in the Auckland Star on 25 January and 8 February 1969.
