RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Takapuna City Renewal Loan 1968, $105,600

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Takapuna
City Council resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on the Takapuna City Renewal Loan 1968, $105,600,
authorised to be raised by the Takapuna City Council by way
of Special Loan under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956
for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the
Sewerage Extension Loan 1954, $64,000, Water Reticulation
Loan 1954, $280,000, and Water Reticulation Loan
(Ward B) 1955, $108,100, which matures on 13 March and
1 February 1969, the Takapuna City Council makes a special
rate of decimal nought two eight cents in the dollar (.028c
in the $) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Takapuna; and that such special rate shall be payable yearly
on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the
currency of the loan, being a period of thirteen (13) years
or until the loan is fully paid off."

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the
Takapuna City Council held on the 17th day of December
1968.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Takapuna
City Council resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on the Concrete Footpaths Loan 1968, $30,000, authorised to be raised by the Takapuna City Council by way
of special loan under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956,
for the purpose of providing concrete footpaths in the City
of Takapuna, the Takapuna City Council makes a special
rate of decimal nought nought six cents in the dollar (.006c
in the $) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Takapuna; and that such special rate shall be payable yearly on
the 1st day of August in each and every year during the
currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25)
years or until the loan is fully paid off."

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the
Takapuna City Council held on the 17th day of December
1968.

The Staff Housing Redemption Loan 1968, $10,000

THAT pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Papatoetoe City Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
the loan of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) authorised to be
raised by the Papatoetoe City Council under the above-named
Act for the purpose of repaying on Maturity that portion of
the Staff Housing Loan 1958 which mature on the 5th day
of February 1969, the said Papatoetoe City Council hereby
makes a special rate of point nought nought nine two cents
in the dollar (.0092c) upon the rateable value of all rateable
property in the City of Papatoetoe; and that the special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the
loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each
and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period
of 10 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

"THAT, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $7,000 authorised to be raised by the Otorohanga
Borough Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act
1956, to be used to purchase the freehold of the old transit
camp area and subdividing the property into sections for
sale as building lots, the said Otorohanga Borough Council
hereby makes a special rate of 0.171c in the dollar on the
rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within
the Borough of Otorohanga; and that the special rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period
of 6 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

Te Teko Water Supply Extension Loan 1968, $3,800

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Whakatane County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $3,800 authorised to be raised by the Whakatane
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending the Te Teko water supply to Kokohinau
Pa, the said Whakatane County Council hereby makes a
special rate of 0.00514 of a cent in the dollar upon the
unimproved value of all rateable property in the whole of
the County of Whakatane; and that the special rate shall be
an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan,
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period
of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Clifton County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of $12,000 authorised to be raised by the Clifton
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
making of advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing
Act 1939, the said Clifton County Council hereby makes a
special rate of decimal nought two six two three cents (0.2623c)
in the dollar upon the unimproved rateable value of all
rateable property comprising the whole of the County of
Clifton; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 11th day of August in each and every
year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25
years or until the loan is fully paid off."
