RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Drainage Loan No. 52, 1968—$2,100,000—First Issue $200,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of $200,000 authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-named Acts for the purposes of and incidental to the improving and adding to the Manukau Treatment Plant and main sewer extensions, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the dollar set out in the fourth column of the Schedule attached hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall, at the lender's option, be for periods of 6, 10, and 20 years from 3 February 1969 or until the loan is fully paid off.

BOROUGH OF HOWICK

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Streets Reconstruction Renewal Loan 1969—$40,000

THAT pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Howick Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges authorised to be raised by the Howick Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Streets Reconstruction Loan 1958, $73,600, which matures on the 2nd day of March 1969, the said Howick Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of .05848c (decimal nought five eight four eight cents) in the $ (dollar) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Howick; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be repayable half-yearly on the 2nd day of September and the 2nd day of March in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being the period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

BOROUGH OF MOUNT ALBERT

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

CERTIFIED copy of resolution making special rate as security for the Mount Albert Tram Track Roading Redemption Loan No. 2, 1968, of $21,000, passed by the Mount Albert Borough Council at a meeting held on 10 December 1968:

"That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and of every other power in that behalf enabling it, the Mount Albert Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of $21,000, known as the Tram Track Roading Redemption Loan No. 2, 1968, of $21,000, for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Tram Track Roading Loan 1955 of $103,000 which matured on 26 November 1968, the Mount Albert Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought nought four seven (.0047) of a cent in the dollar on the rateable value on the basis of the capital value of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Albert; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 8 years or until the loan is fully paid off."

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Drainage Loan No. 3, 1968—$7,500

Extract from the minutes of a meeting of the Northcote Borough Council held on 18 November 1968:

Pursuant to the Local Authorities' Loans Act 1956, the Northcote Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $7,500 authorised to be raised by the Northcote Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing sanitary sewers in the unsewered portion of the Borough, the said Northcote Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0064c in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Northcote; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 7th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Devonport Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-eight thousand four hundred dollars ($28,400) authorised to be raised by the Devonport Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting accommodation for old people, the said Devonport Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two one of a cent (.021c) in the dollar..."
