NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Egmont County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a public work, namely, the construction of a public road; and, for the purpose of such public work, the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.

A plan showing the land to be taken is available for public inspection, without fee, during office hours, at the office of the Council, Napier Street, Opunake.

Any person affected by the proposed taking of land should lodge their objections, in writing, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the said Egmont County Council.

SCHEDULE

1. All the land containing 4 acres 1 rood 26.3 perches, more or less, being part Lot 1, D.P. 6194, being part Section 41, Block IV, Cape Survey District, and coloured sepia on S.O. Plan 10004, and being part of the land contained in C.T. 149/145, Taranaki Registry.

2. All the land containing 2 acres 0 roods 1.4 perches and 1.9 perches, more or less, being part Lot 2, D.P. 6194, being part Section 41, Cape Survey District, and coloured yellow on S.O. Plan 10004, and being part of the land contained in C.T. 149/146, Taranaki Registry.

3. All the land containing 30.6 perches, more or less, being part Section 39, Block IV, Cape Survey District, and coloured blue on S.O. Plan 10004, and being part of the land contained in C.T. 103/131, Taranaki Registry.

4. All the land containing 1.9 perches, more or less, being part Section 38, Block IV, Cape Survey District, and coloured yellow on S.O. Plan 10004, and being part of the land contained in C.T. 169/57, Taranaki Registry.

5. All the land containing 1 acre 0 roods 4.7 perches, more or less, being part Porikapa 1 Block, situated in Block IV, Cape Survey District, and coloured blue on S.O. Plan 10004, and being part of the land contained in C.T. 150/136, Taranaki Registry.

6. All the land containing 2 roods 32.9 perches, more or less, being part Porikapa 2 Block, situated in Block IV, Cape Survey District, and coloured sepia on S.O. Plan 10004, and being part of the land contained in C.T. 102/266, Taranaki Registry.

7. All the land containing 3 roods 8.1 perches, more or less, being part Porikapa 7 Block, situated in Block IV, Cape Survey District, and coloured yellow on S.O. Plan 10004, and being part of the land contained in C.T. 102/226, Taranaki Registry.

8. All the land containing 1 rood 16.6 perches, more or less, being part Lot 1, D.P. 6918, being part Porikapa 6 Block, situated in Block IV, Cape Survey District, and coloured blue on S.O. Plan 10004, and being part of the land contained in C.T. 169/57, Taranaki Registry.

NAPIER CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Health Act 1956 and the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Napier City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the disposal of refuse and rubbish so as not to be a nuisance or injurious to health. And, for the purposes of such public work, the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken, such lands being situated in the County of Hawke’s Bay, between the left or northern bank of the Tutaekuri River and Springfield Road.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situate in Hastings Street, Napier, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands, who have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, must state their objections, in writing, and send the same, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Hastings Street, Napier, and on receipt of any such objection a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

PORIRUA CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

Notice is hereby given that the Porirua City Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, to execute a certain public work, namely, the extension of the main sewer outfall along a line near the foreshore from the present outfall south-west of Titahi Bay to a point south-west of Old Man Point; and, for the purposes of or in connection with such public work, the following land and easements are required to be taken:

1. The land described in the First Schedule hereto.

2. An easement in gross to drain sewage along the lands described in the Second Schedule hereto, vesting in the Porirua City Council full and free right and authority in perpetuity to enter upon the said lands by its contractors, employees, agents, and licensees, with or without vehicles.
