THE ROAD CLASSIFICATION (STATE HIGHWAYS) NOTICE 1968

Pursuant to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1955*, the Commissioner of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (State Highways) Notice 1968.

2. It is hereby declared, as required by the National Roads Board, that the State highway as set out in the Schedule hereto shall belong to the class set out in the said Schedule.

3. So much of the Warrant dated the 8th day of June 1965† as relates to the classification of the State highway described in the Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

WHAKATANE DEVELOPMENT SCHEME AMENDING NOTICE 1968, NO. 1

Whereas, by virtue of the notices described in the First Schedule hereto, the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is now subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, and it is desired to vary the same:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows:

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Whakatane Development Scheme Amending Notice 1968, No. 1.

2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto and dated 26 April 1937, is hereby revoked.

3. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto and dated 30 January 1939 is amended by omitting all reference to the block described thirdly in the Second Schedule hereto.

4. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.
