Pursuant to section 10 of the Magistrates' Courts Act 1947,
His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand has
been pleased to appoint
Leslie Norman Ritchie, Esquire, of Gisborne,
to be a Stipendiary Magistrate, to exercise civil and criminal
jurisdiction within New Zealand, to hold and exercise the
duties of this office for a period from the 26th day of February
1968 to the 31st day of March 1968, both days inclusive.

Children's Court
Pursuant to section 27 of the Child Welfare Act 1925, His

The Coal Mines Act 1925-Warrant of Appointment to the
Coal Mines Council
Pursuant to the Coal Mines Act 1925, I, Thomas Philip
Shand, Minister of Mines for the Dominion of New Zealand,

to be a member of the Coal Mines Council as from 1 April

Appointment of Deputy for a Member of the Cinematograph
Films Licensing Authority
The Minister of Internal Affairs hereby gives notice that,

Stanley Herbert Craig, of Auckland,
as a member of the Cinematograph Films Licensing Authority
to act as deputy for William Watson Duff during such time
as the latter is incapacitated by illness.

Appointment of Air Services Licensing Authority
Pursuant to section 4 (1) of the Air Services Licensing Act
1951 as amended by section 2 (1) of the Air Services Licensing
Amendment Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General
has been pleased to appoint the following persons to be members of the Air Services Licensing Authority:
Mr G. H. Lusk as Chairman for a period of one year from
1 January 1968 to 31 December 1968.
Mr H. B. Smith as member for a period of three years
from 1 January 1968 to 31 December 1970.
Mr B. R. Rae, M.B.E., as member for a period of three years
from 1 February 1968 to 31 January 1971.

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby changes the purpose of the reserve described
in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for a site for a convalescent home to a reserve for a site for a holiday camp.
Pursuant to section 21 of the Reserves and Domains Act
1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints
Birthright (Northland) Incorporated
to control and manage the said reserve for that purpose.
