Pursuant to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to stopping the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the purpose for which it was acquired.

The Whangarei Heads Cemetery Closing Order 1968

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 5th day of February 1968

Present:

The Right Hon. Keith Holyoake, C.H., presiding in Council

Pursuant to the Burial and Cremation Act 1964, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. This Order may be cited as the Whangarei Heads Cemetery Closing Order 1968.

  2. It is hereby directed that the Whangarei Heads Cemetery, being the area described in the Schedule hereto, shall be closed and burials therein discontinued after the 31st day of August 1968.

  3. As from the 31st day of August 1968 management of the closed Whangarei Heads Cemetery shall vest in the Whangarei County Council.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District containing 3 roods 28 perches, more or less, being part Lot 1, Deeds Plan W. 34, being part Allotment 15, Manaia Parish, situated in Block IV, Ruakaka Survey District, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 508, folio 49, North Auckland Registry, limited as to parcels and title and subject to caveat No. 9908.

Authorising Napier City Council to Sub-lease Lands Leased to it by Napier Harbour Board

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

Pursuant to the Napier Foreshore Act 1927, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Napier City Council to sub-lease to McIntyre Restaurant Ltd. all that area of land on which is erected a dining room, kitchen servery, and terrace in the War Memorial Building on the Marine Parade at Napier as described in a deed drawn up on 29 September 1967, and consented to by the Napier Harbour Board.

Warrant Appointing an Additional Conciliation Commissioner Under the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954

Pursuant to section 11 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby appoint

Clifford Lorrie Hunter

to be an additional Conciliation Commissioner under and for the purposes of the said Act; appointment to commence on the 1st day of March 1968 and to end on the 31st day of December 1968.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 13th day of February 1968.

Pursuant to section 10 of the Magistrates’ Courts Act 1947, His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand has been pleased to appoint

Leslie Norman Ritchie, Esquire, of Gisborne,

to be a Stipendiary Magistrate, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction within New Zealand for a period from the 29th day of January to the 25th day of February 1968, both days inclusive.

to exercise jurisdiction in the Children’s Court at Rotorua for a period from the 29th day of January 1968 to the 25th day of February 1968, both days inclusive.
