NORTHCOTE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

EXTRACT from the minutes of a meeting of the Northcote Borough Council held on 10 December 1968:

Pursuant to the Local Authorities’ Loans Act 1956, the Northcote Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of $11,000 authorised to be raised by the Northcote Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing footpaths in the borough, the said Northcote Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.106c in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Northcote; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 7th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of an extract from the minutes of a meeting of the Northcote Borough Council held on the 10th day of December 1968.

HAMILTON CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $200,000, authorised to be raised by the Hamilton City Council for the purpose of providing for the additional costs of converting the Waikato River railway bridge to vehicular and pedestrian traffic, constructing approaches thereto, and outlet to Grey Street, including carriageways and footways, underpass structures and on-off ramps, and the reconstruction of existing streets and alterations to services, wherever necessary, and associated works, the said Hamilton City Council hereby makes a special rate of twenty-five thousandths of a cent (.025c) in the dollar ($) on the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Hamilton; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April of each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Hamilton City Council at a duly constituted meeting held on the 11th day of December 1968.

HAWERA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Bridges Renewal Loan 1968—$20,400

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hawera County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $20,400, authorised to be raised by the Hawera County Council for meeting part of the cost of renewing bridges, the said Hawera County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought eight four nought eight one seven of a cent (.00840817c) in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the County of Hawera; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 21st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Hawera County Council on the 10th day of December 1968.

FEILDING BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioner Flats Loan 1968—$26,500

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Feilding Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $26,500 authorised to be raised by the Feilding Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting accommodation for old people, the said Feilding Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two eight of a cent (.028c)

in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Feilding; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 30 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Feilding Borough Council held on the 12th day of December 1968.

MASTERTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Sewage Treatment Plant Loan 1968, $141,600

THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Masterton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $141,600 authorised to be raised by the Masterton Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing a sewage treatment plant, the said Masterton Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.1c in the dollar upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Masterton; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 15th day of August and the 15th day of February in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Wellington City Renewal Loan No. 5, 1968, of $234,400

THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council, held on the 11th day of December 1968:

“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of two hundred and thirty-four thousand four hundred dollars ($234,400) to be known as the Wellington City Renewal Loan No. 5, 1968, of $234,400, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the abovementioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of Transport Loan 1960—$2,564,460, Johnstoneville Sewerage Loan 1954—$326,000, Sewerage Loan 1958—$600,000, and Transport Loan 1953—$270,000 which mature on 15 February and 1 March 1969 the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought one nine of a cent (.019c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RICHMOND BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Sewerage Renewal Loan 1968—$10,000.00

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Richmond Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $10,000, authorised to be raised by the Borough of Richmond under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Sewerage Loan 1954 which matured on 1 October 1968, the Richmond Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought four six four cents (.0464c) in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Richmond, comprising the special rating area contained within the classified “residential A”, “commercial” and “industrial zones” of the Richmond Borough operative district scheme, as deposited in the offices of the local authority, and that the special rate shall be an
