Industries and Commerce Act 1956—Committee of Inquiry Into Woollen Milling and Textile Industry

THE above Committee, with broad terms of reference, is required to report to the Minister of Industries and Commerce on the productive capacity, performance, and desirable development of the woollen and textile manufacturing industry.

An interim report, to be made by 28 February 1969, is to deal with the present state of the industry, and the final report, to be made before 30 June 1969, will cover all aspects of the productive capacity, performance, and desirable development of the industry.

Interested parties are invited to make written submissions to the undersigned for consideration in either the interim or the final report as early as possible but in any event not later than 31 March 1969.

Twelve copies of each submission are requested.
