Notice of Varied Hours for Sale of Liquor at the
Alexandra Hotel, Auckland
PURSUANT to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act
1962, as inserted by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act
(No. 2) 1967, I, John Lochiel Robson, Secretary for Justice,
hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee,
on 3 December 1968, made an order fixing hours other than
the usual hours for opening and closing the Alexandra
Hotel, 13 Kingston Street, Auckland, for the sale of liquor
to the public as follows:
Mondays to Wednesdays inclusive, open at 9 a.m. and close
at 8 p.m.
Thursdays to Saturdays inclusive, open at 11 a.m. and
close at 10 p.m.

Reserve Bank of New Zealand
PURSUANT to section 33 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand
Act 1964, the Reserve Bank, acting with the approval of the
Minister of Finance, hereby gives notice that, as at the close of
business on 13 December 1968, and until further notice, bal-
ances to be maintained in the Reserve Bank by each trading
bank shall be equal to an amount which, when added to that
bank's holdings of Reserve Bank notes as disclosed in that
bank's latest available weekly return of Banking Statistics
under the Statistics Act 1955, will be not less than the aggregate of:
5 percent of that bank's demand deposits in New Zealand
plus 3 percent of that bank's time deposits in New Zealand
as shown in the last preceding monthly return furnished by
that bank in accordance with section 31 of the Reserve Bank
of New Zealand Act 1964.

Reserve Bank of New Zealand
