RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Drainage Redemption Loan No. 55, 1968-$712,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the
Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional
Authority has resolved to the following effect:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan
of $712,000 authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional
Authority under the above-mentioned Acts for redeeming the
unpaid balance of a loan raised by the former Auckland Metropolitan
Drainage Board in connection with its drainage and sewerage
undertaking, which liability was taken over by the Auckland
Regional Authority in terms of section 43 of the Auckland Regional
Authority Act 1963, plus the costs of raising such loan, the Auckland
Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several
amounts in the dollar set out in the fourth column of the Schedule
hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively
in the third column of such Schedule of all rateable property of the
local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set
out against such amounts and the rateable values respectively; and
that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan, which shall be for a period of 10 years from
the 1st day of December 1968 or until the loan is fully paid off."

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Transport (Redemption) Loan No. 7, 1968, $82,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the
Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional
Authority has resolved to the following effect:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan
of $82,000 authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional
Authority under the above-mentioned Acts for redeeming the unpaid
balance of the Auckland Transport Board Modernisation and
Development Stage 3 Loan 1954, $3,320,000, issue of $800,000,
portion $82,000, raised by the former Auckland Transport Board
in connection with its passenger transport undertaking, which
liabilities were taken over by the Auckland Regional Authority in
terms of section 45 of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963,
the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of
the several amounts in the dollar set out in the fourth column of
the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts
respectively in the third column of such Schedule of all rateable
property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such
Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values
respectively; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate during the currency of the loan, which shall, at the lender's
option, be for 6-monthly periods commencing on 10 December 1968
and ending on 10 December 1975, or until the loan is fully paid off."
