AUCKLAND REGIONAL AUTHORITY
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Bulk Water Supply Redemption Loan No. 22, 1968, $211,900
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Board Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $211,900 authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts for redeeming the unpaid balances of several loans raised by the Auckland City Council in connection with its bulk water supply undertaking, which liability was taken over by the Auckland Regional Authority in terms of section 42 of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, plus the cost of raising such loan, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the dollar set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set out against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall, at the lender's option, be for periods of 6, 10, and 20 years from the 1st day of February 1969, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Notice of Application for Consent to Change of Use
Notice is hereby given that application has been made by Barton Vernon Gillespie, of Auckland, as trustee for an intended company, for consent to change of use of land to allow the said intended company to use the below-mentioned properties for the purpose of car parking in conjunction with retail shops, professional rooms, and a cinema theatre to be erected on the corner of Massey Road and Yates Road.
The properties are situated at No. 369 Massey Road and at No. 8, No. 10, and No. 12 Yates Road. The properties are in the residential zone.
The legal description of the land is all that piece of land containing two roods twenty-two decimal three perches (2R. 22.3p.), more or less, being Lot 1, deposited plan 43907, being portion Fairburn’s Old Land Claim No. 269A; and all that piece of land containing three roods two decimal four perches (3R. 2.4p.), more or less, being Lot 1, Lot 2, and Lot 3, deposited plan 42800, being portion Fairburn’s Old Land Claim No. 269A.
The application may be examined at the office of the Manukau City Council, Nathan Park, Hill Road, Manurewa, during normal office hours; and any person or body affected may object to the application by notice in writing delivered to the City Manager, Manukau City Council, Private Bag, Manurewa, not later than 4 p.m. on 3 January 1969.
Every objector shall state the grounds of the objection and whether the objector wishes to be heard by the Council in support of his objection.

The legal description of the land is all that piece of land containing two roods one decimal six perches (2R. 1.6P.), more or less, being Lots 4 and 5, Deposited Plan 42800, being portion Fairburn’s Old Land Claim 269A.

Notice is hereby given that the result of a poll conducted on November 30 1968 to consider a proposal to change the rating system from annual value rating to unimproved value rating was as follows:
In favour of unimproved value rating system ... 103
In favour of annual value rating system .... 87
I therefore declare the proposal to change the rating system to unimproved value rating carried.
