OXFORD COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Oxford County Council
propose to take, pursuant to the provisions of the Public
Works Act 1928, the land described in the Schedule hereto,
together with all improvements thereon, for a road. Every
person affected by the proposed taking or by the proposed
work is hereby called upon to set forth, in writing, any
objection he may wish to make, not being an objection to
the amount or payment of compensation, and to send the
written objection, within 40 days from the first publication of
this notice, to the County Clerk, Oxford County Council,
Main Street, Oxford (postal address: P.O. Box 9, Oxford),
where a plan of the said land may be inspected, free of
charge, during normal office hours. If any such notice of
objection is received a public hearing of the objection will be
held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector
will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land situated in the County of Oxford
containing 7 acres and 10 perches, more or less, being part
Maori Reserve 897, Tawera, and being part of the land in
certificate of title, Volume 140, folio 144, Canterbury Registry;
shown, coloured blue, on plan S.O. 10518.

Dated the 28th day of November 1968, being the date of
first publication of this notice.

CITY OF MANUKAU

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Land Purchase Loan No. 13, 1968—$89,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Manukau City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $89,000 authorised to be raised by the Manukau City
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
purchasing land within the City of Manukau, the said
Manukau City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal
nought nought five six cents (.0056c) in the dollar ($) upon the
rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the
City of Manukau, and that the special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be pay-
able yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year
during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty-five
(35) years or until the loan is fully paid off”.

I, Ronald Wood, Town Clerk of the Manukau City Council,
hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at
a meeting of the Manukau City Council held on the 14th
day of November 1968.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Land Purchase Loan No. 14, 1968—$48,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Manukau City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purposes of providing annual charges on a
loan of $48,000 authorised to be raised by the Manukau
City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of purchasing land within the City of Manukau, the said
Manukau City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal
nought nought three one seven cents (.00317c) in the dollar
($) upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable
property of the City of Manukau; and that the special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of
the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in
each and every year during the currency of the loan, being
a period of thirty-five (35) years or until the loan is fully
paid off”.

I, Ronald Wood, Town Clerk of the Manukau City Council,
hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at
a meeting of the Manukau City Council held on the 14th
day of November 1968.

DEVONPORT BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

“THAT, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of six thousand dollars ($6,000) authorised to be raised
by the Devonport Borough Council pursuant to the Local
Authorities Loans Act 1956, for the purpose of repaying on
maturity that portion of the Street Works Loan 1954, $400,000,
which matures on 1 December 1968, the said Devonport
Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal
nought one one cents (.011c) upon the unimproved rateable
value of all rateable property in the Borough of Devonport;
and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on
the 29th day of July in each and every year during the
currency of the loan, being a period of not more than 10
years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of a resolution passed by the Devonport Borough Council
on 20 November 1968.

WAITOTARA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan 1968

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Waitotara County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges
on a loan of $24,000 authorised to be raised by the Waito-
tara County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural
Housing Act 1939, the said Waitotara County Council hereby
makes a special rate of decimal point zero one four three
(.0143) cents in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the
basis of the capital value) of all rateable property, comprising
the whole of the County of Waitotara; and that the special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of
the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in
each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a
period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
passed at a meeting of the Waitotara County Council held
on the 21st day of November 1968.

ROTORUA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan No. 5, 1968—$50,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Rotorua County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $50,000 authorised to be raised by the Rotorua
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the pur-
pose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural
Housing Act 1939 the said Rotorua County Council hereby
makes a special rate of 0.0152c in the dollar upon the rate-
able unimproved value of all rateable property in the whole
of the County of Rotorua; and that the special rate shall be
an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and
every year, being a period of 35 years or until the loan is
fully paid off.”

The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the
Rotorua County Council held on Tuesday, the 26th day of
November 1968.
