NAPIER CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION PLEDGING SPECIAL RATE
Redemption Loan No. 3, 1968—$17,200
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Napier City Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of seventeen thousand two hundred dollars ($17,200) authorised to be raised by the Napier City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the General Purposes Loan 1958 and Development Loan 1962 which mature on 1 March 1969 and 2 March 1969, the said Napier City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought nought six (.006) of a cent (c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Napier; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 14th day of August in each year and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

NELSON HARBOUR BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Nelson Harbour Board hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the Redemption Loan No. 3, 1968, of $35,000, authorised to be raised by the Nelson Harbour Board for the purpose of supplementing the appropriate portion of the accumulated sinking fund of six thousand three hundred dollars so as to redeem at maturity those parts of the Harbour Works Loan 1957 and the Port Development Loan No. 2, 1962, which mature on 1 December 1968, the said Nelson Harbour Board hereby makes the special rate of $0.00005 in the dollar on the rateable value on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the Nelson Harbour Board District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the first day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 15 years or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Nelson Harbour Board on the 18th day of November 1968.

Town and Country Planning Act 1953
Inviting Proposals for Wyndham District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Wyndham Town Council, at its meeting held on the 18th day of November 1968, has resolved to prepare for the Wyndham Town District scheme, as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
Every person concerned and every local authority in the district, as defined by Section 2 of the Act, is hereby invited to submit full information as to the proposals (including public works) which in his or its opinion should be considered in the preparation of the scheme.
Proposals, marked “Wyndham District Scheme”, should be addressed to the town clerk and delivered at the town clerk’s office on or before the 11th day of April 1969.

Auckland District—Four candidates being nominated for three vacancies, the poll resulted:

J. M. Dickey ........... 214 votes
G. Gunn .............. 167 votes
P. G. Ludgate .......... 289 votes
I therefore declare R. F. D. Crosby, J. M. Dickey, and P. G. Ludgate duly elected.

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL
SPECIAL ORDER
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by section 108A of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, as enacted by section 10 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1959, and all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves, by way of special order, that instead of levying the special rates specified in Schedule I hereto, a uniform consolidated special rate of 5.079c in the $ (five decimal nought seven nine cents in the dollar) on all rateable property within the City of Auckland be, and the same is hereby made, an annually recurring rate for the purpose of paying the annual charges plus 10 percent thereof payable in respect of the loans secured by those special rates; and the Auckland City Council hereby further resolves that the consolidated special rate shall be due and payable in each case in one sum upon the date appointed for the assessments included in the valuation rolls, as specified in Schedule II hereto, at the City Treasurer’s Office, Administration Building, Cook Street, Auckland, to Keith Andrew Armstrong, City Treasurer, or to such other persons as may from time to time be appointed to collect same.
