Notice of Voluntary Winding-up Resolution and of Appointment of Liquidator

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter of Fish Freezers (1952) Ltd. (in voluntary liquidation) members' winding up, the following special resolutions were passed,
pursuant to section 362 of the Companies Act 1955, by an entry in the minute book, dated 25 November 1968:

  1. That, pursuant to section 268 (1) (b) of the Companies Act 1955, the company be wound up voluntarily.

  2. That Owen Coutts Pierce, public accountant, of Invercargill, be, and is hereby appointed, liquidator of the company.

Notice to Creditors to Prove Debts or Claims

The liquidator of Fish Freezers (1952) Ltd. does hereby fix the 31st day of December 1968 as the day on or before which creditors of the company have to prove their claims or debts under section 308 of the Companies Act 1955, otherwise they may be excluded from the benefits of any distribution made before such claims or debts are proved, or, as the case may be, from objection to such distribution.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Whangarei City Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the realignment of Corks Road in the City of Whangarei; and, for this purpose, the Whangarei City Council proposes to take, under the provisions of the said Public Works Act 1928, the land described in the Schedule hereto, for street. Notice is further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the town clerk to the said Council, situated in Bank Street, Whangarei, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said work or by the taking of such land, who have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, must state their objections, in writing, and send the same within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the town clerk at the Council Chambers, Municipal Building, Bank Street, Whangarei.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land containing a total area of 2 roods 17.1 perches, more or less, and being part of Lot 1 on deposited plan 25044, situated in Block V, Whangarei Survey District; as the same is more particularly delineated on S.O. Plan No. 46012 and thereon coloured blue. The land referred to is situated at the southerly end of the unformed portion of Corks Road.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments, and in the matter of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941 and its amendments, notice is hereby given that the Manawatu Catchment Board intends to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, the land situate in and about the bed of the Otaki River and described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of planting and soil conservation and river control. A plan of the said lands is deposited at the public office of the Manawatu Catchment Board, 541 Ruahine Street, Palmerston North, and is there open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands are hereby required and called upon to set forth, in writing, any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation) and to send such writing, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the Secretary of the Manawatu Catchment Board, 541 Ruahine Street, Palmerston North.
