NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Counties Act 1956, and in the matter
of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the
Rodney County Council proposes, under the provisions of
the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work,
namely, the provision of a road, being portion of Tomaratta
Valley Road (Red Bridge approaches) within the County of
Rodney; and, for the purposes of such public work, the lands
described in the Schedule here to are required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands
so required to be taken is deposited at the public office of
the said Council, situated in Baxter Street, Warkworth, and
is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during
ordinary office hours.
AIl persons affected by, and who have well-grounded objec-
tions to, the execution of the said public work, or the taking
of such lands, must state their objections, in writing, and send
the same, within 40 days from the 9th day of November
1968, being the day of the first publication of this notice, to
the County Clerk at the county office, Baxter Street Wark-
worth.

ROTORUA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING AND LEVYING SPECIAL RATE
Vehicle Testing Station Loan 1968, $40,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Rotorua County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $40,000 authorised to be raised by the Rotorua
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the pur-
pose of meeting part of the cost of purchasing land and erect-
ing a vehicle testing station thereon, the said Rotorua County
Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0157c in the dollar
upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property
in the whole of the County of Rotorua; and that the special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency
