Maori Land Development Notice

WHEREAS by virtue of the notices described in the First Schedule hereto the lands referred to in these notices are subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas the areas of the said lands have been altered as a result of survey; and whereas it is desired to replace the notices aforesaid by a further notice showing the areas of the said lands as disclosed by survey.

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Maori Land Development Notice Hamilton 1968, No. 13.

  2. The land described in the Second Schedule is hereby declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

  3. This notice is issued in replacement of the notices referred to the First Schedule, which are hereby revoked.

Maori Land Development Notice

WHEREAS by virtue of the notice described in the First Schedule hereto the land referred to in that notice is now subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas it is desired to release certain of that land from the provisions of the said Part XXIV:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Maori Land Development Notice, Whangarei 1968, No. 6.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

WHEREAS by virtue of the notice described in the First Schedule hereto the land referred to in that notice was declared to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas the land was partitioned by a subsequent order of the Maori Land Court and part was released from the provisions of the said Part XXIV; and whereas it is desired to replace the notice aforesaid by a further notice referring to the land still subject to Part XXIV under the current appellation:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.

Notice of Varied Hours for Sale of Liquor at the Whangarei Hotel, Whangarei

PURSUANT to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act (No. 2) 1967, I, John Lochiel Robson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Northland Licensing Committee, on 22 October 1968, made an order fixing hours other than the usual hours for opening and closing the Whangarei Hotel, Whangarei, for sale of liquor to the public, as follows:

Mondays to Thursdays inclusive, open at 9 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.

Fridays, open at 11 a.m. and close at 10 p.m.

Saturdays, open at 9 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.

Approval of Revolving Amber Lights for Certain Vehicles

PURSUANT to regulation 39 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, the Commissioner of Transport hereby approves the fitting of one revolving yellow or amber light on any motor vehicle used for road construction, reconstruction, or repair, subject to the following conditions:

  1. The vehicle shall be painted a conspicuous colour.

  2. The light shall not be used while the vehicle is moving.

  3. The light shall be used only at the site of a traffic hazard.

  4. Suitable and adequate warning signs shall be provided as soon as possible after the occurrence of the hazard.
