Declaration That Land is a Public Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Howick Borough Council on the 14th day of May 1968:

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 13 of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Howick Borough Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the said borough in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be, a public reserve for recreation purposes within the meaning of the said Act”.\n

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—HOWICK BOROUGH

ALLLOTMENT 341, Pakuranga Parish (formerly land to be reclaimed, being part land below M.H.W.M. Hauraki Gulf), situated in Block IV, Otahuhu Survey District: area 30.6 perches, more or less. (S.O. Plan 44822.)

Reservation of Land

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for water conservation purposes.\n

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT—RANGITIKEI COUNTY

SECTION 144, Paraekaretu District, situated in Blocks II and VI, Ongo Survey District: area, 70 acres 1 rood 20 perches, more or less (S.O. 24111). Appurtenant hereto are the easements created by T. 328274 and the right of way reserved out of renewable lease 441, registered as 6B/506.

Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Taupo Borough Council

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes, and, further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Taupo, in trust, for that purpose.\n

SECTION 57, Block VI, Tauhara Survey District: area, 2 acres and 1 perch, more or less. (S.O. Plan 42737.)

Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Waikouaiti County Council

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes; and, further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waikouaiti, in trust, for that purpose.\n

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT—WAIKOUAITI COUNTY

SECTION 20, Block V, Town of Waikouaiti: area, 1 rood and 2 perches, more or less; and Section 26, Block XXV, Town of Waikouaiti: area, 3 roods and 17 perches, more or less (S.O. 16569).

Maori Land Development Notice

Whereas by virtue of the notice described in the First Schedule hereto the land referred to in that notice is now subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas it is desired to release certain of that land from the provisions of the said Part XXIV:\n
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.\n

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Maori Land Development Notice Whangarei 1968, No. 5.
  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.
  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.\n
