Leasehold Estate in Land Taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block XV, Heretaunga Survey District, Hawke’s Bay County

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, sufficient agreements to that effect having been entered into, the leasehold estate in the land first described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Lindsay Tilson Wellwood, of Hastings, farmer, under and by virtue of lease in perpetuity No. 154, recorded in H.B. Volume 64, folio 69, Hawke’s Bay Land Registry, and the leasehold estate in the land secondly described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Craig James Rosenberg, of Hastings, farmer, under and by virtue of lease in perpetuity No. 156, recorded in H.B. Volume 2, folio 34, Hawke’s Bay Land Registry, is hereby taken for the purposes of a road and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Hawke’s Bay from and after the 11th day of November 1968.

Licensing Ernest James Hogg and Wilfred Henry Mennell to Occupy a Site for a Jetty in Riverton Harbour

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Ernest James Hogg and Wilfred Henry Mennell (hereinafter called the licensees, which term shall include their administrators, executors, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Riverton, as shown on plan marked M.D. 12642 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a jetty, as shown on the said plan; such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensees upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

2. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of October 1968.

3. The premium payable by the licensees shall be 10 dollars ($10) and the annual sum so payable by the licensees shall be 12 dollars ($12).

Licensing Lake County Council, Queenstown, to Occupy a Site for a Water Intake in Kingston Arm, Lake Wakatipu

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licences and permits Lake County Council, Queenstown (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its administrators, successors, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of Lake Wakatipu, as shown on plan marked M.D. 13104 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a water intake, as shown on the said plan; such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

Change of the Purpose of Part of a Reserve and Vesting in the Wellington City Council

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby changes the purpose of that part of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for military purposes to a reserve for a dog pound; and, further, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington, in trust, for dog pound purposes.

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 13 of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Northcote Borough Council hereby resolves that the pieces of land held by the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the said Borough in fee simple, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same are hereby declared to be, public reserves for recreation purposes within the meaning of the said Act.”
